DISCO DISCO DISCO

Here is me doing a quick shoot in my lovely garden.This shoot is to showcase some of my handmade items for Asos.They are for my Spring/Summer collection.I am an up and coming designer who is inspired through street and rave culture, Disco and dub music,I am a massive fan of the 80s and 90s era and really wish i was a teenager of the 80s.I enjoy being inspired from everything around me not what other people are doing in fashion at the moment but what is happening in the world,what other artists are doing musically,dance wise and art. Also reflecting on the past and putting your own twist on it really excites me.

Here is a shoot i did for my Asos page featuring my new spring summer range.The clothing where made by me and the model is Holly Bradley and Photographer is done by Abbi Jade Birden.Had an amazing day shooting and the weather was glorious ! Possibly the best shoot i have ever done so far in a location i have been wanting to use for many years. Hope you enjoy the Pictures !!

Hebden Bridge Arts Festival

I also organized a pop up shop through the festival and ended up having the shop for a week.It was an amazing experience to have my own shop for a week at such a young age.I filled the shop with my handmade clothing,local friends art work,handmade jewelry,sculptures and lots of other lovely little treats.It has been an extremely busy past few months but has definitely been worth it and i am looking forward to getting involved even more next year :) 

I have recently been involved in organizing the young Hebden Bridge Arts Festival.I organized having my own stall there selling my handmade clothing and other handmade treats,I also showed my clothes off on a catwalk at the festival.
